Promises to keep
I must apologize to those who have been asking questions about our coming features. My answers have not been very specific, and that can't be very satisfying. Allow me to explain...
We do have major releases planned for this month, and I think we are on target to getting them done. With the hectic load our small team has, I hesitate to announce the specific schedule, thus retaining a little bit of leeway and flexibility. Meanwhile work progresses (as you can see), we dropped some new features into skrbl today.
About the new features -
The file menu is new and it lets you save a copy of your skrbl whiteboard. We think the ability to save to your desktop was critical, and now you can. Users have the option of saving a WYSIWYG version or a printer friendly view of the skrbl Whiteboard. You can also email invitations to your guests. Your guests just click a link in the mail to join you online.
We also moved the Text formating menu into a floating toolbar, the functionality remains the same as before, the driver here was to make room for coming features.
As you can see we are getting there, one feature at a time, in the meantime, we beg your indulgence.

Skrbl is a brilliant idea and I will follow its development closely.
I am a primary school teacher in the UK working in several schools developing the use of ICT across the curriculum. Skrbl provides an easy to use means of communication and collaboration between pupils in different locations.
Presumably there is a fast growing number of users. I think we all need to be put in touch with each other, and the developers, through a forum, providing efficient communication of ideas and experiences using skrbl, and news of developments.
