Terms of Use Last Updated on December 10th 2006 YOUR USE OF THE SITE AND THE SKRBL SERVICE CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT LISTED HERE.

skrbl, www.skrbl.com , is a web based collaboration and personal productivity application. It currently provides a web based whiteboard that can be used for storing data online or shared for collaboration.
skrbl retains the right to modify this agreement from time to time, you agree to be bound by these changes which will be effective when posted on the site. To keep track of changes to these terms we encourage you to check this page frequently, skrbl will not post announcements regarding changes in the terms of use.
You must be 13 years of age or older to register or use skrbl.
Each username is for an individual user, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You, the registered user are responsible for all activity that occur under your username.
You have full responsibility for your content. Your use of skrbl is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
Published content – Should you choose to publish your skrbl whiteboard for public viewing, you grant skrbl a world-wide, royalty free, non-exclusive license to use, distribute, modify, adapt and display such content.
Content – skrbl does not provide or control content on the skrbl whiteboards and sessions, thus we do not offer any assurance as to its accuracy, quality or suitability. SKRBL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONTENT POSTED BY ANY USER OR THIRD PARTY – this disclaimer includes, without prejudice, any liability arising from errors in content or any loss incurred as a result of the content.
You agree that skrbl owns all rights to the skrbl service and the skrbl name and associated copyrights, trademarks and intellectual property rights as recognized by US and international law. skrbl reserves all copyrights and intellectual property rights to the skrbl service, the skrbl website and skrbl software.
skrbl is provided on an ‘As Is’ and ‘As Available’ basis. Your use of skrbl is at your sole risk. We disclaim all warranties express or implied.
Any content, data or other material stored or shared through skrbl is at your sole risk, you are solely responsible for any damage that may result to your computer or for any loss of data that may occur from such a download.
Third party websites linked from the skrbl web site are not within our control. skrbl is not responsible for their content, products, services or other offerings.
The following are absolutely prohibited.
- Use of skrbl for any Illegal activity.
- Interference with others use of the service.
- Violation of others privacy or rights.
- Unlawful, pirated, obscene or otherwise objectionable content.
- Violation of intellectual property rights or the unauthorized access of any proprietary information.
- Alteration, modification or any attempt to reverse engineer skrbl.
- Any form of mass mailing or spamming.
- Distribution of a virus, work, Trojan horse, or other such destructive code.
- Impersonation, by using others user accounts or otherwise in a skrbl session.
- Resale or other commercial use of skrbl without express consent.
You expressly agree to indemnify skrbl for any damage or loss that may incur from
- Use of, or inability to use skrbl.
- Failure or defects in the skrbl service.
- Unauthorized access or alteration of your skrbl data or skrbl service.
- Loss of data or loss of your skrbl service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless skrbl, and its partners, officers, employees and agents from any claim or demand made by any third party arising out of your –
- Usage of skrbl
- Infringement of intellectual property or other rights of others.
- Violation of federal, state or local law.
- Content posted, uploaded, transmitted or otherwise made available by you.
skrbl shall retain the following rights
- skrbl retains the right to monitor or review content on skrbl sessions.
- skrbl retains the right to cancel user accounts, typically this will be for violation of terms or for objectionable content or behavior online, however a determination of violation will be at the sole discretion of skrbl. In any case, skrbl reserves the right to cancel a user account without assigning any reason whatsoever.

If you do not accept the terms and the entire agreement listed above, you should not use skrbl.
